RESPONSIBILITY OF HOA/POA NATURAL/GREENSPACES & PUBLIC AREAS
As part of the development process, jurisdictions having authority may require natural areas, greenspaces and other public areas within the community. Besides providing legal public access, these areas become the HOA/POA’s responsibility to maintain in perpetuity.
When these areas are not managed or maintained properly, they become attractants for slip/fall type lawsuits, or havens for homeless, or other criminal activity.
